Gracie’s Life Experiment

Gosh, it’s a good thing it’s my last day of work tomorrow before maternity leave.  I was so knackered all day.  Baby K has been waking me up around 2am and 4am and not only kicking but doing great barrel rolls.  Also she seems to be exploring to see how far she can wriggle around my sides (seriously it felt like she was trying to go around to my back last night).  With the lack of sleep I’m finding it hard during the day – not just to stay awake but having enough energy to do anything.   Spent most of the day lying in bed (it’s actually getting uncomfortable to sit now as the bump starts to push upwards into my ribs) on my back trying to expand my abdomen.  Managed to get some housework done around lunchtime (and enjoyed hanging out the washing on the line now the weather’s much better).  Reclined on the sofa most of the afternoon recovering from the housework exertion!  I can’t believe there’s another 10 weeks and faster rate of bump growth still to go.  I’m so tired already.

Summary of the day:  Got up late, Did housework, Dossed around the house, Felt uncomfortable, Made a chicken and bacon lasagne
