Gracie’s Life Experiment

I don’t know what it is with Mondays but my diary was jam packed again.  First I had a doctor’s appointment (I was totally amazed as I arrived 5 mins early and before I even managed to sit down in the waiting room I was called in).  Then I met up with one of the people who will be taking over part of my job over the summer to explain stuff before I leave.  Then I had to rush off to do my presentation to some French academic visitors (unfortunately my boss came down with shingles over the weekend so I had to take her place).  Rushed back to the office where I had a student waiting.  Then had another student meeting straight after that.  Throw in 3 or 4 phone calls in the micro seconds between meetings.  I was totally non-stop today, it’s mad.    They’re certainly getting their money’s worth out of me before I go on leave on Thursday!!

Summary of the day:  Doctor’s appt, Meetings, and more meetings, Made quiche for dinner, Practiced putting up and collapsing the pram, Did Sudokus to relax in the evening.
