Gracie’s Life Experiment

So, since we had the first scan last Tuesday we’ve told a few people.  The grapevine (or Rachvine, or Joanvine) travels very fast.  At church it was like one of those movies, the grapevine went quicker than I could walk into the church hall.  By the time I got to the coffee hatch I think everyone knew!!  Also facebook works very well as sharing the news (I don’t think I could face emailing all my friends and phone calls with lots of people who are very gushy).  I’ve always been quite a toyboy, now I’m an engineer so don’t have many female work colleagues, I don’t have any girly close knit friends so I don’t do the gushy, screaming when excited thing.

Summary of the day:  Played piano in church, Came home, Spent afternoon feeling unwell (stupid chest infection), A friend turned up unexpectedly and stayed for 4 hrs, I retired to bed to have a nap as I had a massive headache and nausea coming on, Made jacket potatoes for dinner (didn’t eat much of it).
