It’s a Baby! January 15, 2008

Finally we can tell people that we’re having a baby! We went for our first scan (dating scan) at the hospital today. Was all very exciting and I’ve become mega-paranoid as for some reason I thought there might be no baby there and get all embarrassed! Thankfully the sonographer found baby straight away. Baby was very lively, jumping, waving and generally spinning around so we couldn’t get a good view of it. Everything’s in order and it will be nice now to be able to tell people that I haven’t just over-indulged over Christmas and become lardy.
So, our baby is only 12 weeks in existence (or -28 weeks old) and is already on the internet!
Summary of the day: Went to the hospital, waited, waited, had a scan, waited, saw doctor, waited, had MORE blood tests!! Came home knackered and napped/dozed all afternoon.
