Gracie’s Life Experiment

I got a shock today – I just checked my diary (Google Calendar is great) and it looks like in the next 2 weeks I have only 3 meetings!!  Hurray I have some breathing space.  The students are all doing their interim reports and then they’re finished on Friday so I have most of those meetings cancelled (note to self: must implement my 2 student day plan next year – I will make it a rule that I will only see students on only 2 days a week hence making it easier on me on the other days to get actual work done).  Need to get a couple more papers (journals) written (hope to get the drafts to supervisor before Christmas break).

Summary of the day: Woke up late (mostly because bloody dog barked again – I really wanted to give her a vocal cord removal operation!!), Got to church 20 mins after waking up, Played piano in church (with lack of sleep and a stinking headache), Did some more Christmas cards, Made enchiladas (sort of, but like an enchilada sandwich cos the tortillas had gone too hard to bend), Looked through and made comments on 3 student reports.
