Gracie’s Life Experiment

So today I spent probably a grand total of 2 hrs sitting waiting for various appointments.  Nothing seriously wrong with me, just normal check ups for the various skin conditions etc and trying to get repeat prescriptions!!  Unbelievably I had a hospital outpatients appt at 8.35 and didn’t actually get seen till 9.20 (I don’t think they start appts till 8.15 in the morning so how they are running 45 mins late after only 20 mins I have no idea).  Unfortunately I had my GP appt at 9.20 and as I was by myself at the hospital I couldn’t go outside to use my mobile (in case I missed them calling me into the consultant).  When I finally got to the doctor’s I was 1/2 hr late and they wouldn’t give me another appt (bad when u need a repeat prescription to put in before Christmas break but need to have a check before they give it to you) so I waited in turn to see a nurse, who then managed to book me an appointment with doctor at the end of the morning session.   A bit more waiting and I finally got my prescriptions.  What a palava!

Summary of the day:  waited in waiting rooms all day, watched the final two episodes of Heroes (really cool)
