Gracie’s Life Experiment

Had an absolutely jam packed day today – only had 12-12.30 without a meeting or some sort.  Didn’t get home till 10.15 pm!!  There was an after work networking event (by the time it got to 6pm I was totally knackered and not looking forward to it at all).  But it was nice to catch up with some of our industrial collaborators in a semi formal manner and the University stumping up a 3 course slap up meal with wine (although I was driving so no wine for me).  I don’t mind the odd after hours event, but immediately following a full day just tired me out.  I’m so ready for the Christmas break.

Summary of the day: Went to work, back to back meetings all day long, IMCRC dinner event in the evening, Lots of networking, Gave people lifts back to their hotel, Came home and went straight to bed!
