Something Scary Happened Today December 2, 2007

(to be posted on 2nd Dec 07 – but can’t tell anyone yet) I’ve been a bit stressed and moody all week (and various bits of me are aching) and it culminated in us buying a Clear Blue test yesterday. Woke up this morning and used both tests…….
ARRRRGHH where is the “not” bit on the digital display – apparently I am officially up the duff!! According to various internet calendars due date should be 30th July 2008. I’m kinda happy and excited, but also s**t scared.
Which now puts a bit of the spanner in the works as it were as we have to decide what we’re doing with the emigrating to Oz thing. The options are:
1. Go on a holiday at easter to validate
2. Just emigrate at end of May
3. Emigrate in September (hoping that we can get a visa for baby by September)
4. Wait till baby is older and emigrate before Oct 2012
Think hubby and I are thinking of option 2 at the moment. Option 1 is extra costs for flights, Option 3 is risky as we might not be able to get a visa in time and we could lose our visas), Option 4 would be the easiest, but I have a feeling we might end up not emigrating in the end if we took that option.
Summary of the day: Played piano in church, Made lunch out of leftovers (didn’t really work too well), Read up lots on the internet about babies (never thought I’d hear myself say/type that), Panicked, Felt happy, Panicked, Did some work.
