Today is my hubby’s 0th birthday!!! He got baptised and confirmed today at Leicester Cathedral. He even ironed his best white shirt! The service was really really long, the seats were v uncomfortable and it was really cold last night (it was almost snowing when we came out of cathedral). There were almost 70 other people getting confirmed from the diocese (only John from our church) and they went up one at a time to the bishop.
Summary of the day: Tidied house, Went to Tescos (a few things on the shopping list for dinner), Went to Good Shepherd for John’s baptism, Then to Leicester Cathedral for his confirmation, Had dinner party in the evening with MIL and the reverends (we have a married couple who are both reverends)
